The Ecole d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg (EHTL) was honored to receive Mr. Eric Thill, Minister Delegate for Tourism, for a courtesy visit on Monday, April 15, 2024.

On his arrival, the Minister and his team were warmly welcomed by the EHTL management and a delegation of teachers specialized in tourism and communication.

The visit began with a tour of the school’s facilities, including practical cooking and pastry-making workshops, highlighting the excellence of the eleven courses offered by EHTL.

Afterwards, an enriching exchange was organized with students from the “Tourism and Communication Technician” course. The Minister talked to them about their motivations and their first experiences in the tourism sector, in a convivial environment enhanced by delicious preparations made by the pastry students.

The visit ended with an official photo session involving all the participants, creating an unforgettable memory for the students. The visit not only demonstrated the commitment of the Minister Delegate for Tourism and EHTL to education and professional development in the tourism and hospitality sectors, but also underlined the government’s commitment to supporting and promoting careers in this vital sector.
