Inauguration of the EU4You(th) Expo at EHTL

The Ecole d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg (EHTL) was honored to welcome Mr. Christophe Hansen, Member of the European Parliament for Luxembourg, for the inauguration of the EU4You(th) Expo, held at the EHTL from September 25 to October 6, 2023. This initiative will give young people a better understanding of Europe in all its diversity and potential.

During his visit, Mr. Hansen had the opportunity to speak with pupils and students, engaging in a discussion on subjects crucial to Europe’s future. Among the points of discussion was the Green Deal for Europe, presented by Ursula von der Leyen, which aims to promote the development of clean energies within the European Union.

At the end of the exchange, the students also had the opportunity to discover a virtual reality experience with Pollinator Park, the European Union’s award-winning virtual reality tool, offering an immersive vision of our world in the absence of pollinating insects.

Expo EU4You(th) was conceived as part of the European Year of Youth, thanks to collaboration between the European Commission Representation in Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Office of the European Parliament. The aim of this exhibition is to inform Luxembourg pupils about various aspects of the European Union, while introducing them to its roots, the workings of its institutions and its concrete achievements.
