EHTL : Visite du ministre Lex Delles le 23 février

Minister Delles’ visit was devoted to the memories, experiences and activities of the Tourism Section students. With the help of small playful interludes, the respective students briefed the Minister about their activities of the last months, such as their active participation in the Expogast.

The first-year BTS class then presented the two projects they had developed in the framework of the young entrepreneurs’ competition and also gave a brief overview of Luxembourg’s tourism strategy.

Minister Delles thanked all the students for their presentations and their commitment and gave a short presentation on the innovations, digitalization and sustainability in Luxembourg tourism before starting a question and answer session with the students. To conclude, during a question-and-answer session, the minister responded to the pre-prepared questions from the participants of the day.

The EHTL would like to thank Mr. Delles, who, for the fourth consecutive year, made the trip to Diekirch to meet the future professionals in tourism.

Der Besuch von Minister Delles stand unter dem Motto Erinnerungen, Erfahrungen und Aktivitäten der Schüler der Tourismussektion. Die jeweiligen Schüler informierten den Minister anhand von kleinen spielerischen Einlagen über ihre Aktivitäten der letzten Monate, wie z.B. ihre aktive Teilnahme an der Expogast.

Der erste Jahrgang der BTS Klasse präsentierte anschliessend ihre 2 Projekte im Rahmen des Wettbewerbs der Jungunternehmer und gab ausserdem einen kurzen Überblick über die Luxemburger Strategie im Tourismus.

Minister Delles dankte allen Schülern und Studenten für ihre Präsentationen und ihr Engagement und ging in einem kurzen Vortrag auf die Neuerungen, die Digitalisierung und die Nachhaltigkeit im Luxemburger Tourismus ein, ehe er in einer Rede und Antwort-Runde den Schülern auf ihre Fragen antwortete.
