Visite des membres de la famille grand-ducale à l’EHTL

The EHTL management was honoured to welcome TRH Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla and HRH Prince Paul-Louis of Nassau for a courtesy meeting on its Diekirch campus on Wednesday 18 December 2024.

The aim of the visit was not only to present the school, but above all to encourage a meeting between the students and Prince Paul-Louis, who shares a common interest with them: a passion for hospitality.

During their visit, LL.AA.RR. toured the school’s premises and took an interest in the teaching methods used. The Apple Distinguished School label particularly caught their attention. It was explained that the aim of using Apple technologies is to stimulate students’ creativity and make learning more personal. They also found out about the different training courses on offer and followed the EHTL Director’s explanations with great interest.

The first meeting with Prince Paul-Louis took place in May 2024, during a study trip to the United States. As a student in hotel management, the Prince acted as a facilitator, opening the doors of major hotels and enabling exchanges with the management of certain establishments.

During his visit to Diekirch, Prince Paul-Louis was able to talk to the classes of students on the BTS Hospitality Management course about their career plans. He emphasised the vital role of the hotel and tourism sector and highlighted the many international opportunities offered by this course, particularly in terms of internships and work experience in the United States.

The EHTL management would like to express its sincere thanks to HRH Prince Paul-Louis de Nassau for his encouragement, which inspires students to pursue their studies with determination and to strive for excellence in the field of hospitality on a global scale, and to TRH Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla for their interest in the Luxembourg School of Hospitality and Tourism.
