A promising exchange between the Institut Viti-Vinicole and the EHTL.

On 20 December, Serge Fischer, Director of the Institut Viti-Vinicole in Remich, visited the EHTL for a working meeting. He was accompanied by Claire Sertznig, Project Manager, and welcomed by Michel Lanners, Aziza Boukha, Head of Nutrition Research and Development and Head of the Sensory Analysis Department, and Carole Fouss, Head of Food Safety at EHTL.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the EHTL’s intention to create a department dedicated to sensory analysis, an ambitious project designed to enhance the technical skills of its students. In addition, Renée Ferring, head of the EHTL’s internship office, has initiated discussions with the Institut Viti-Vinicole to explore the possibility of internships for EHTL students, in particular to run events organised by the Institut.

The next step in this collaboration will be a visit by the EHTL to the Institut Viti-Vinicole, scheduled for early 2025, paving the way for even richer opportunities for exchange and partnership.
