A look back at the EHTL 2024 Advent Calendar Competition

Throughout December, EHTL pupils and students had the opportunity to take part in the Advent calendar competition.
Each day, a new door opened on the school’s screens, showing a photo of a young child. This photo represented one of the EHTL staff (teachers from the practical or theoretical sector, members of the administrative staff or the management) and the pupils had to choose from eight answers which member of staff it was.

After finding the name of the personality of the day, the students used their tablets to scan a QR code to access an answer form, which they then submitted.
The competition was organised by the EHTL’s Digital Working Group, and was carried out entirely using new technologies.

In all, around 70 students took part in the game.
The top three were rewarded with gift vouchers.
Congratulations to :
1. Isa Gloria Arsenio received a EUR 100 Asport voucher
2. Milla Van Steenbeek who received an Asport voucher worth 75 EUR
3. Lenny Haag who received a EUR 50 gift voucher

The success of the competition suggests that it will probably be held again next year.
