Les étudiants de l’EHTL explorent les coulisses d’un hôtel 5 étoiles

On October 14th, second-year students from the BTS Hospitality program at the École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg visited the Sofitel Luxembourg Europe, located in Kirchberg. The tour was led by a former BTS student from EHTL, who is now part of the hotel’s team.

The students had the opportunity to discover various facilities of the hotel, including suites, conference rooms, dining spaces, and areas dedicated to welcoming VIP clients. The emphasis was on Sofitel’s unique quality standards.

Throughout the visit, the students asked numerous questions about different aspects of hotel management.

This experience gave them a concrete insight into the operation of a luxury hotel and a deeper understanding of the challenges within the industry. It also boosted their motivation to pursue careers in this field, as they were inspired by the journey of their former peer. They appreciated the time spent at Sofitel and the valuable advice received for their future hospitality careers.
